Jawad specialises in all aspects of appeals related to Immigration and Asylum law and is regularly instructed to challenge Home Office immigration decisions at Immigration Tribunal and Courts. He also advises and provides representation in immigration related Judicial Review matters.

Jawad has over 14 years experience representing clients before the Immigration Tribunal. His expertise covers all areas of immigration law including cases involving partners, children, long residence, the Points Based System (Tiers 1, 2 and 4), EEA rights, Ankara Agreement rights, asylum and family reunion, deportation, civil penalties for illegal working and human rights claims based on Article 8.

Jawad has achieved success in numerous appeals under the Points Based System (PBS) and other immigration matters arguing that UK Visas & Immigration has failed to properly apply the Immigration Rules, unlawfully elevated the status of their Policy Guidance, wrongly invoked one of the General Grounds of Refusal or not properly considered Human Rights.

His expertise also covers all aspects of business immigration law, including immigration routes for investors, entrepreneurs, representatives of overseas businesses, exceptionally talented persons and skilled workers.

His clients include businesspersons, sportspersons, artists & entertainers and employers. Jawad also maintains an interest in assisting family members of settled persons to relocate, extend their stay and settle in the UK under the family migration routes.
